Interim Minister:

The Rev. Michael Corrigan:     Currently serving the UU Church of Pueblo as half-time District Transition Minister, Michael graduated in 2005 from the Iliff School of Theology in Denver, where he earned his Master of Divinity degree. He also holds an MA in art history and has taught art and architectural history to university undergraduates. For the past ten years, Michael has been very active in the Mountain Desert District, preaching and teaching in many far-flung parts of the District, from Bozeman, Montana to Albuquerque and Las Cruces, New Mexico. He’s also served as Director of Religious Education for two District congregations, and as the presenter of the UU Religious Heritage and Values curriculum at the District’s annual Leader School in 2000-2002. He returned to Leadership School in July 2007 for another three-year commitment. Michael has also co-facilitated the “Healthy Congregations” program, and many “Welcoming Congregations” workshops and programs to teach the tools and principles of inclusion and acceptance of all, regardless of sexuality or gender-identification. His active interests in ministry include GBLT issues of acceptance and welcoming, creative worship, and Unitarian Universalist theology and history.

The Rev. Byron Kelham became our Minister Emeritus in October, 2003, honoring his decades-long involvement with the church, first as part-time minister and then as one of several lay leaders instrumental in keeping us going through some tough times.
